These tools need a business or creator account. Meta does not publish a price for them. They answer by rule: the same reply to the same keyword or question.
What are the rules for automated Instagram DMs?
- Customer first. Through the API, a business can only message someone who messaged it first.
- 24-hour window. Meta's documentation says your app has 24 hours to respond to a message.
- Human agent tag. With Meta's approval, a person (not a bot) can reply up to 7 days after the customer's message.
- Comment-to-DM. One private reply per comment, within 7 days of the comment; more only within 24 hours of the person answering.
- Volume limits. Meta lists limits per account, such as 750 private replies to post and reel comments per hour. The "200 DMs per hour" figure often quoted online is not on Meta's rate-limit page.
Is Instagram DM automation free?

How do you set up Instagram DM automation?

- If messages are many or varied, connect a tool through Meta's official API by logging in with Meta.

- Test with real messages from your DMs before letting it answer customers.
