What does the score measure?
The score measures the front door: whether the customer finds the way and can start the conversation without effort. There are 15 checks, all read from the address you enter. None of them is an opinion. Either the signal is live, or it isn't.
- How the customer reaches you: a clickable WhatsApp link, a number in the right format, a pre-written message and a phone number that dials.
- What they find out on their own: price, opening hours, where you are and a frequently asked questions section.
- Mobile and speed: load time, mobile-ready layout and the security padlock.
- When someone shares the link: title, description and the image that shows up when the link is pasted into a group.
How is each point counted?
The tool downloads the HTML at the address, as a browser would, and looks for each signal in it:
- WhatsApp link: a wa.me or api.whatsapp.com/send link on the page.
- Valid number: the number inside the link starts with 55 (Brazil), followed by the area code and 8 or 9 digits.
- Pre-written message: the link carries ?text= with the first sentence.
- Clickable phone: a tel: link on the page.
- Price: an amount in Brazilian reais, or the Portuguese words for price, prices or "starting at".
- Hours: something like "Monday to Friday", "opening hours" or "8am to 6pm", written in Portuguese.
- Address: street, avenue, highway, postal code (CEP) or the word address, in Portuguese.
- Frequently asked questions: "frequently asked questions" in Portuguese, or FAQ.
- Speed: under 2 seconds is worth the full 10 points. Under 4 is worth 6, under 7 is worth 3, and above that is worth zero.
- Mobile: the viewport tag.
- Padlock: the final address, after redirects, starts with https.
- Preview: page title, description, og:image and og:title or og:description.
The sum is the score, and the score falls into one of four bands:
- 85 to 100: "Ready to take customers. What decides things now is who answers, and how fast."
- 65 to 84: "The door is open, but there's a step. Every red item costs you conversations every day."
- 40 to 64: "The customer gets there, but has to work to talk to you. Few do."
- 0 to 39: "Anyone looking for your business today has no way to start a conversation."
A worked example
Picture a sample bakery. The site has a WhatsApp button, but the link is missing the 55 at the front and has no pre-written message. It has a clickable phone, a cake price and an address. It has no hours and no FAQ. It loads in 3.1 seconds, has a viewport tag, a padlock, a title and a description, but no preview tags.
| Check | Result | Points |
|---|---|---|
| How the customer reaches you: 18 of 30 | ||
| Has a clickable WhatsApp link | Passed | 12 of 12 |
| The number in the link is a valid Brazilian WhatsApp number | Failed | 0 of 6 |
| The conversation opens with the message already written | Failed | 0 of 6 |
| Has a clickable phone for people who prefer to call | Passed | 6 of 6 |
| What they find out on their own: 13 of 25 | ||
| Mentions price somewhere | Passed | 7 of 7 |
| Shows opening hours | Failed | 0 of 6 |
| Shows where the business is or how far it serves | Passed | 6 of 6 |
| Has a frequently asked questions section | Failed | 0 of 6 |
| Mobile and speed: 21 of 25 | ||
| Loads fast (3.1 seconds) | Failed | 6 of 10 |
| Is mobile-ready | Passed | 8 of 8 |
| Has a padlock (HTTPS) | Passed | 7 of 7 |
| When someone shares the link: 10 of 20 | ||
| Has a page title | Passed | 5 of 5 |
| Has a search description | Passed | 5 of 5 |
| Has a preview image | Failed | 0 of 5 |
| Has preview title and text | Failed | 0 of 5 |
Score: 62 out of 100. The verdict the tool shows is "The customer gets there, but has to work to talk to you. Few do."
Now the same bakery makes three text fixes: it adds the 55 to the link, adds the pre-written message and publishes its hours. The score rises to 80, and the verdict becomes "The door is open, but there's a step. Every red item costs you conversations every day."
The score measures the door. What happens after the customer sends the message is the job of customer service. Connect your WhatsApp and the AI learns from your conversations.
How should I use the result?
- Start with what's worth the most points. The WhatsApp link is worth 12 and speed is worth 10. Fixing either one weighs more than any preview item.
- Fix the text-only items first. The 55 in the link, the pre-written message, the hours and the price take minutes, without touching the site's design.
- Measure again after making changes. The score is the fastest way to know whether the fix went live.
- Look at what the score doesn't see. It doesn't measure how long you take to reply, who answers at night or what the customer hears when they ask about price. About a third of messages arrive outside business hours (CertuAI measurement across 122,720 messages from 67 businesses, from 07/30 to 09/30/2026).
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to sign up to see the score?
- No. The full result shows up on screen, with no account and no email.
- Does the score measure how long I take to reply?
- No, and the page says so plainly. It measures the front door; reply time is what you improve afterwards, by replying.
- Do you send messages to my number?
- No. The measurement reads only what's already published at the address you enter. Nothing is sent to your WhatsApp or to your customers.
- My site has a WhatsApp button and the score says it doesn't. Why?
- The tool reads the HTML the server delivers. If the button only appears after a script loads, it isn't in that HTML, and a bot that doesn't run JavaScript won't see it either.
- Why does speed change from one measurement to the next?
- It's measured on the spot, by how long your site takes to deliver the page. A busy server or a heavy image changes the number from one run to the next.
- Can I measure a page other than the home page?
- Yes. The tool accepts the address of any public page, like yourcompany.com/contact.
