Everyone wants to know the same thing: do you have the part for my car? The agent asks for model, year and engine, confirms whether you have it, and answers price and delivery while the counter keeps serving.

What is the best WhatsApp chatbot for auto parts stores in Brazil?

The best WhatsApp chatbot for auto parts stores in Brazil is the one that answers on the number the store already uses, with the business rules written by you. A WhatsApp AI agent for an auto parts store is CertuAI's automatic attendant. It asks for model, year and engine before answering anything, confirms fitment from what you registered, gives the price and the original or aftermarket option, and follows the rule you write for a mechanic's order when a car is stuck in the shop.

Does the AI confirm the part fits my car from just the model and year?

Only on the parts you registered as confirmable by model, year and engine; for the rest it asks for the chassis number or the part code, and it does not guess what isn't registered.

CertuAI has no fitment catalog of its own and does not look up license plates or chassis numbers in any database. The AI knows what you taught it: the store's product catalog, with your code for each part, the name, the price and the description, and the text you wrote in the Brain. If the fitment of a brake pad is written there, it answers. If it isn't, it says it will confirm with the counter, because the rule for every CertuAI account is to use only what the business taught it and never invent a price, deadline, stock level or rule.

The split between a part that fits by model and year and a part that depends on the version is yours, and it is written as text. There is no “requires chassis” button. You write in the Brain, for example: “brake pads: always ask for the engine and the year; shock absorbers and clutch kits: ask for the chassis number before saying it fits”. The AI follows what is written, asks one question at a time and only says it fits when it has the data you told it to ask for.

To put the fitment in the Brain without typing everything, use the Import button. It accepts pasted text, the website address and files such as PDF, spreadsheet and image, and turns everything into short entries that you review before saving. A supplier's catalog becomes a starting point. Review the entries for the parts that sell the most first: the AI will repeat whatever is there. The short answer to this question is in can the agent confirm the part from just the model and year?

The customer sends a photo of the part or an audio message: does the AI understand?

It understands both: the photo becomes a written description, including any text that appears in it, and the audio becomes text before the AI answers. If it can't open what arrived, it asks the customer to send it in writing.

In a photo, the AI reads what is in view: the code printed on the box, the brand on the label, the model written in a screenshot. That description goes into the conversation and it continues from there, asking for whatever is missing. A photo with a caption is also read, and the two come in together. What it does not do is look at a part with no label and say which one it is with the certainty of someone who works at the counter. The photo helps find the part in your catalog; the registry or a person confirms it.

An audio message from a mechanic in the middle of a job is normal in a parts store. The AI turns the audio into text and answers as if he had typed it. A PDF file the customer sends, such as a repair shop's parts list, is also read. Word files and spreadsheets are kept for your team to open, but the AI does not read what is inside them.

When the media fails, the conversation does not go silent: the AI says it couldn't see what arrived and asks for it to be resent in writing, instead of answering as if it knew. See the case of the broken part in can the agent quote from a photo of the broken part?

Does the AI know whether the part is in stock?

It does, for each product where you turned on stock control: it says there is some, that it is running low or that it ran out, never the quantity, and it won't sell a part that ran out and suggests a similar one from your catalog, if there is one.

Stock lives in the CertuAI catalog itself, product by product. The AI receives the list of what exists today with only three phrases: available, last units or out of stock. It never says the number, even if the customer asks. The reason is practical: a small store's count is often wrong, and saying “we have four” and finding two on the shelf is a promise broken with a number. Up to 200 products with stock control enter the conversation.

For a product without stock control it answers from the normal catalog. If you marked the item as unavailable, it does not offer it. If the customer asks for a part that is not in the catalog, it says it will confirm instead of inventing a price or availability.

For the count to move, someone has to log incoming and outgoing stock. Logging stock movements is part of Business Control, an add-on that already comes with Max and Max +. Automatic stock deduction on sale is optional and starts turned off. When on, it links the order item to the catalog by name, and anything that doesn't match is not deducted and becomes an alert for you, instead of the system guessing the most similar part. A motorcycle parts store follows the same rule: see does the agent confirm whether the motorcycle part is in stock?

The mechanic sends the part code and wants it today: does the AI prioritize?

The AI recognizes the repair shop from the contact record, logs the order with item, quantity, price and delivery date in the CRM, answers delivery from your table and alerts the person in charge of the department; priority and special repair shop pricing are rules you write, not buttons.

Recognizing the repair shop starts with the registry. When you import the customer list in a spreadsheet, what is in each contact's record, such as “Type: repair shop” or “Terms: resale price list”, enters the conversation as a fact, and the AI does not ask again. What it learns by talking also goes into the record. The customer's address and code stay only in the CRM and do not enter the conversation.

With the record, the rule you write in the Brain has something to rest on: “customer marked as repair shop: an order with a car that is stuck goes out on the first delivery of the day; the resale price list applies”. Without that rule written, the AI serves the repair shop like any other customer, with the counter price list. It does not figure out on its own who is a mechanic. When the code arrives, it checks against the code you registered for each part.

The order becomes a card in the CRM with each item, the quantity and price of each, the address, the payment method and the agreed date and time for delivery. The AI only moves the card to closed when the customer really confirms; a customer who goes quiet or asks for time does not become lost. When the catalog has the price as a number, the system calculates the total, and the AI repeats the number it returned, without doing math in its head.

There are two ways to handle delivery, and you can use both. The area by neighborhood, with fee, time and minimum order, is part of Business Control; if you say the list is complete, a neighborhood outside it gets a “we don't deliver there” right away. Shipping to other states is a table of price per kilogram for each state, and the system does the math from the customer's address. If you registered departments, such as counter and delivery, the AI reads the whole conversation and sends the alert to the right person in charge; with no clear subject, it does not guess the department.

If the store sells through the WhatsApp catalog, the order placed through it arrives marked as a real order, with items and amounts. WhatsApp sends only the item code; if you haven't yet given that code a name in CertuAI, the AI asks the customer which part it is before confirming. Also read does the agent prioritize the order of a mechanic with a stuck car?, can the agent promise same-day delivery? and does the agent answer the terms for people who resell?

The customer asked for a price and disappeared: does the AI follow up?

Yes, in two ways that you control: a message of yours that goes out minutes after a price with no reply, if you turn it on, and the follow-up for people who stopped answering, which comes already turned on with one attempt 24 hours later and another the next day.

The follow-up after the price comes turned off. You write the message and choose how many minutes of silence to wait, from 1 to 1,440, which is 24 hours. It only goes out if the last turn in the conversation was the AI's and included a price, once per conversation every 24 hours. It never goes out to someone who just confirmed the order, to a conversation where someone from the store has already answered, or outside the hours for sending, which are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. by default. If the message offers something, the AI honors what it offered.

The follow-up for people who disappeared is a different schedule. By default, one message 24 hours after the silence and one more 24 hours after that. You change the interval, from 1 hour to 30 days, and the number of attempts, from none to 10. It only goes out when the customer is the one who owes a reply, and it stops when they answer, say goodbye or say they will check and let you know. On the official Meta WhatsApp, the first one goes out within 20 hours, to fit inside the 24-hour window in which the store can write freely.

Each quote already stays as a contact and card in the CRM, so yesterday's clutch kit request does not get lost among today's conversations.

Does the AI explain original, genuine or aftermarket, and the part's warranty?

It explains the way you write it, with the price of each option, and answers the warranty by part line; it does not judge whether an aftermarket part is worth the same as the original or authorize an exchange, that stays with the store.

In the catalog, the price is free text. You can register the original and the aftermarket as two items, each with its own code and price, or a single item with both options written in the price. The AI repeats the amounts exactly as they are and leaves the choice to the person paying. See more in does the agent explain the difference between original and aftermarket parts?

Warranty is Brain text. Write it by part line: suspension, electrical, engine and accessories usually have different terms, and a single rule is the one that turns into a fight at exchange time. The ready-made repair shop Brain already has the entry “Warranty on services and parts”, with the terms for you to fill in and the rule that invoking the warranty always goes to a person. It is for a repair shop, not a parts store, but it works as a base for writing your own entries. The question from a customer who has already installed the part is in does the agent answer the warranty of the part after it is installed?

When the customer asks for someone from the counter, or when you wrote that a subject goes to a person, the AI says it will call someone, stops answering in that conversation and you receive the alert. If someone from the store answers from the company phone, it also stops talking there. For the day-to-day of the people who fit the part, read the article AI for repair shops: quotes and service on WhatsApp.

What does the AI do with each message that reaches the auto parts store?

Messages from auto parts store customers and what the CertuAI AI does
Client messageWhat the AI does
"Do you have brake pads for a 2012 Gol?"Asks for the engine and version, if you told it to; answers from the registry and, if you wrote that line requires the chassis number, asks for it before saying it fits
"Does it fit my car? Is it original or aftermarket?"Shows the options and prices you registered for that part, without choosing for the customer
Photo of the part, with no textDescribes the photo, with any code or text that appears, and continues the conversation from there; if it can't see it, it asks for it in writing
Audio from the mechanicTurns it into text and answers as if he had typed it
"I'll send the part code, do you have it?"Checks against the registered code and says there is some, that it is running low or that it ran out, without saying the quantity
"Can you send it today? The car is stuck at the shop"Answers from the delivery area or the shipping table, logs the order with the delivery date and alerts the person in charge of the department, if there is one
"What is the warranty on this part?"Answers the term for the part line you wrote; invoking the warranty goes to a person
Asked for a price and disappearedSends your message minutes later, if you turned it on, and follows up 24 hours later, within the stopping rules
Order placed through the WhatsApp catalogTreats it as a real order, with items and amounts; for an item with only a code and no registered name, it asks which one it is
"I want to talk to someone at the counter"Says it will call someone, stops answering in that conversation and you receive the alert

What changes in the shop with an AI agent?

What changes is who answers first: the message no longer waits for you and is answered right away. These are four everyday shop situations before and after the CertuAI agent.

TodayCustomer asks if you have the part and the attendant stops everything to check model and year

With CertuAIThe agent already asks for model, year and engine, confirms fitment and answers availability right away

TodayThe usual question: does this part fit my car? is it original or aftermarket?

With CertuAIThe agent confirms fitment from what you registered and explains the original and aftermarket options, your way

TodayMechanic sends the part code and waits for an answer in the middle of the rush

With CertuAIThe agent confirms the code and price right away and transfers to the counter only when it needs to check

TodayCustomer asks the price of a clutch kit and disappears without a reply

With CertuAIThe agent answers price, availability and delivery and keeps the conversation open to close the sale

What does a conversation handled by the AI look like?

Real recording of a CertuAI agent (auto parts, demo business), 17 seconds.

Is an AI agent or manual service worth more for auto parts stores?

The agent wins on repeated tasks, and the person keeps winning on anything that takes judgment. With manual service, someone at the shop has to stop what they are doing; with the CertuAI agent, the reply goes out on its own and you step into the conversation whenever you want.

What does the WhatsApp agent do for auto parts stores?

It does the customer service that is yours today. You teach the business once in the Brain, CertuAI's knowledge base, and the agent answers clients your way, with your rules.

Lookup by model, year and engine

Asks for the three details before answering, and asks for the chassis number on the lines where you wrote that the version changes the part.

Price and availability

Answers the part's price, whether it is in stock, and the original, genuine or aftermarket options, all defined by you.

Delivery and pickup

Explains delivery time and cost by region and what can be picked up right away at the counter.

Service for mechanics and repair shops

Recognizes the repair shop from the contact record, receives the part code and applies the delivery rule you wrote for a car that is stuck.

Warranty and exchange rule

Answers the warranty period by part line and what can't be returned once installed, the way you write it.

What questions do clients send on WhatsApp?

They are always the same, and the agent answers each one on its own. These everyday shop messages no longer depend on you having your phone in hand.

Do you have brake pads for a 2012 Gol? Does this part fit my car? Is it original or aftermarket? How much is the clutch kit for the Onix? Can you send it today? The car is stuck at the shop What is the warranty on this part? I'll send the part code, do you have it?

How does the agent start answering at the shop?

In three steps, on the same day. No installation, no code and no changing the number clients already know.

1

Teach your business

In one conversation, you explain catalog, prices, delivery, warranty, and rules, the way you would to a new employee.

2

Connect WhatsApp

Scan a QR code with the number your clients already know. Ready in minutes.

3

The agent answers

It answers right away, records each order and quote in the included CRM, and contacts again those who went quiet.

How much does a WhatsApp AI agent cost for auto parts stores?

The Start plan costs US$ 75 per month and already includes the WhatsApp agent, your business Brain, the CRM, automatic follow-up and AI assistants, which come with every paid plan. Pro costs US$ 120 per month and adds the landing page, the wallet and 10 people on the team instead of 5. No contract and no setup fee.

What needs to be ready before turning the agent on in the store?

The agent answers what is written, and nothing beyond that. Have these points defined before you connect WhatsApp.

  • The lines and makes the store carries, and the ones it doesn't
  • Which parts the agent can confirm from just the model and year, and which require the chassis number
  • The difference in price and warranty between original, genuine and aftermarket, written your way
  • The delivery table: price, time, region and what can be shipped the same day
  • The repair shops and fleet customers who get different terms from the counter
  • The exchange policy, including what can't be returned once installed

Whether the agent answers the price directly on WhatsApp or the price only goes out after the fitment is confirmed.

The most common mistake: Letting the agent confirm fitment from just the model and year. The same car has different engine versions, and a part pulled using the wrong data comes back as an exchange, with shipping paid by the store. Read how to solve this.

Frequently asked questions from auto parts stores

Does the agent confirm whether the part fits the customer's car?

It asks for model, year and engine and checks fitment from what you register. Anything it is unsure about goes to the counter to be confirmed safely.

And when the same model has more than one fitment?

Then it asks for the chassis number, if you wrote in the Brain that the part depends on the version. That is the difference between delivering the right part and getting back an exchange with lost shipping.

Does it tell original parts from aftermarket ones?

Yes, the way you teach it. It explains the options and the price of each and lets the customer choose.

Does it work for repair shops and mechanics?

Yes. The agent receives the part code, confirms price and availability, and speeds up service for people who buy in volume.

In what other fields does the CertuAI agent work?

In any business that serves customers on WhatsApp, because the Brain is written by you. These fields have a day-to-day closest to yours.

In short

The agent asks for model, year and engine, confirms fitment from what you registered, compares original and aftermarket, and the mechanic's order goes into the CRM.
